9/11: National Day of Service and Remembrance

September 11, 2019 marks the 18th anniversary of the horrific attacks on the United States. In honor and remembrance of the 2,983 men and women whose lives were lost,  National Day of Service and Remembrance ceremonies will take place around the country, led by the  9/11 National Memorial & Museum, located in lower Manhattan, NY.

In the depths of the tragedy, a light of courage shone from our first responders: The firefighters, paramedics, police officers, military personnel, and bystanders, who sacrificed their own safety to save the lives of others.

The National Day of Service and Remembrance pays tribute to those we lost by calling on all of us to renew our commitment to volunteer our time and talents to serve others in need in our own neighborhoods and communities.  It is also a day to strengthen our resolve to work toward efforts that support peaceful resolutions to eradicate violence from our communities, nation and world.

The Cuyahoga Group, veteran-owned and operated, stands in honor and tribute today of those whose lives were lost on 9/11—and the selflessness and bravery of our first responders. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
