Vince Variglotti, President

In October 2016, Vince Variglotti was appointed the President of The Cuyahoga Group.

Vince joined The Cuyahoga Group in October 2007 and was the General Manager of the Columbus, Ohio facility and a Regional Manager. In March 2014, Vince moved to the Cleveland Area and become the Vice President of Operations for The Cuyahoga Group where he oversaw all operations for all the companies that make up the group.

Prior to joining The Cuyahoga Group, Vince was a commissioned Naval Officer from 2001 to 2007, where he deployed in the support of the Operation Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. A native of Cleveland, OH, Vince holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Carla Variglotti, VP of Business Development

Carla Variglotti is Vice President of Business Development at The Cuyahoga Group.  She earned a BA degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and received an executive certificate in Women’s Foodservice from Northwestern University. She recently completed her Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace University.

At The Cuyahoga Group, Carla serves as a liaison between management and all of the departments to ensure customers and team member opportunities are flourishing. She oversees the Culinary Center, which provides fresh food to nine branch locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. She also oversees the marketing department that includes internal communication projects and external marketing materials. Carla serves as a point person for clients and collaborates with the company leadership to plan and execute strategic and operational changes.  

Lorre White, COO

Lorre White has a BS in Education from Penn State University, bringing with her more than 20 years of leadership and P & L experience from her time in the utility and contact center industries.  She has held leadership positions in operations in both the US and abroad.  The time spent amongst other cultures is one of her defining career and personal opportunities, all of which provide her with a unique perspective.

Lorre joined The Cuyahoga Group in 2017 and spent her first 3 years with the company in Operations, responsible for the Pennsylvania and New York locations.  Lorre credits her operational experience and those years spent learning the inner workings of the business with her opportunity for advancement.  Currently, Lorre leads the Accounting, Finance and Operational Support teams.  Her groups work behind the scenes to oversee the company’s financial health, while ensuring that our operations teams have the actionable data needed to provide the best possible service to our clients, in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Jim Variglotti, Founder & CEO

James (Jim) Variglotti is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Cuyahoga Group (Cuyahoga Vending). Jim founded Cuyahoga Vending in 1988. His philosophy on life, family and business has remained constant throughout the years: He believes that people should take care of one another and always be true to their word. Jim’s handshake is a contract and his word is his promise.

While Jim was learning the vending business from the ground up, he forged lifelong friendships and business partnerships that continue to flourish today.

Prior to the founding of Cuyahoga Vending, Jim was a vending mechanic technician. His unwavering work ethic, self-taught knowledge of the vending industry, focus on taking care of the customer as well as the employee, enabled him to grow a business from a staff of one—to a full-service vending, micro market and catering company with more than 350 employees across Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania.   

Jim is a U.S. Navy Veteran who served his country during the Vietnam War. The foundation of his life continues to be his family, with his wife and new dog, Marty.

Ken Hrabnicky, VP of Operations

Ken Hrabnicky is Vice President of Operations at The Cuyahoga Group. He began his career part-time, pulling orders in the Maple Heights warehouse while attending Cuyahoga Community College.  He then became a route driver and continued to learn the business.  He never turned down an opportunity to advance and became a Branch Manager in Wooster, Mansfield, and N. Ridgeville.  Throughout his career, Ken has been an instrumental part of the changes that have occurred in the company—changes that  have improved route efficiencies and enhanced customer satisfaction. 

As Vice President of Operations, Ken oversees the daily operations of six branches and thousands of customers. Ken continues to work hard to make The Cuyahoga Group great for our customers and employees.
