Ginger has been with The Cuyahoga Group since 2003.
Ginger is customer focused and as a client representative she constantly exceeds my expectations. More importantly, her attention to detail extends to our entire workforce. An example of this is Ginger greets virtually all of our employees in hot food line by name and in a friendly manner. Not only does she remember their names but she remembers each person unique twist to their dietary preference. She remembers who likes which sides or garnishments along with which beverage is their favorite. She always asks her customers if they want it the same way as last time (including detailing what they chose last time) and if they would like the specific bottle drink that she knows they favor. To be honest, Ginger does this so smoothly I have almost grown accustomed to it and have begun taking it for granted.
Recently, I was reminded that her skill of personalizing the customer experience is nothing short of remarkable. A couple of weeks ago I was in the café and saw her greet an employee by name including food and drink choice. This would not have stood out to me except, the employee she was addressing was an employee who works at our facility in Rockford, IL. The fact that she is so attentive to her customers she is able to build a bond so quickly with an infrequent visitor with the same personable hospitality that she greets her regular customer is simply amazing.
In addition to her outstanding customer service, Ginger is very close to the financial side of the business. Ginger proudly tells me the days the café has reached a milestone daily sales mark. She takes it personally when sales are down on the day. Ginger’s sense of pride and ownership seems to driver her to strive to satisfy the customer and meet her financial goals as if she owned the business.
In short, Ridge Tool and the Cuyahoga group have a long partnership together and Ginger represents the Cuyahoga Group very well each and every day. Her work ethic is second to none. In my 30-year career in working in Human Resources and partnering with food service vendors I am hard pressed to come up with anyone else I have encountered that takes as much personal pride and ownership in what they do as Ginger does.
